Bent shaft

Bent rotor is a failure which can be fixed very hard during the routine repair. It can be detected only in special workshops but it is checked not very often whereas it is a rare failure.

Bending could be:

- permanent
- thermic

Permanent bend could be measured by classical methods after the rotor removal in a special preparation. Thermic bend could occur at electric motors during operation after achieving the operating temperature. When the engine is switched off and becomes cool it is almost unidentifiable. It is a complex failure, where the engine is simultaneously exposed to heat effects and magnetic pole.

Vibrodiagnosis and detailed analysis help us to locate the bend shaft, since vibratory spectra measured at this failure are very typical.

Place an order for vibrodiagnostics of electrical motors and related equipments in order to gain valuable information so as not to search for special failures “sightlessly” !

Latent faults detection is essential for ensuring failure-free run of the machinery

as well as for reliable operation of your equipment, moreover we save your maintenance costs.
